mrBot just found a minor bug, and im tempted to leave that one there hue hue, kinda cool that one, but it'll need to go eventually...

Hello fellow netizens! I come to let you know, in the case that I do put this application up now, that it will have been tested for stability and security BUT is a premature #staging version. Well before it's intended release. Today is August 26 2025. This has been a #NOTICE
chunk🕥:2025-08-24#reminder go over the entirety of #css and make sure it's uniform and responsive, also for phone.

I'll be honest tho, cockpit's design is much nicer now than it was. I had even forked it on github with a possible intention to redesign it somewhat cuz I thought it looked pretty bland. It looks nice now.

I lied, and no sooner than I said pcp was not available in debian 13, I discovered that I had lied to the internet. For shame. It is installable, just not first from debian repos. It is a thing one hmust do is install it from the metrics panel in cockpit, to use pcp in cockpit. Useless information, no, I will not refund your time, good day.
chunk🕙:2025-08-20
none of the base nginx packages will install on debian 13. iptables is rekt as fuck. cockpit-pcp is no longer either. not that i cared for pcp and its trillions of open ports. debian 13 is just like the previous two major distribution version upgrades. wholly and entirely crippled. will have to wait a couple of minor version bumps before using as server software.

Alrighty then SIR. That's a fine and dandy one SIR.

What we will maybe do after that is to continue to parse links, but add an extension to the parser for URLs that can prefetch with HEAD HTTP requests, a content type. If theres no content-type returned by wherever the link refers to, then just wrap it in an anchor tag.
chunk🕞:2025-08-18
Okay, so what will be required is to consider how to exactly handle HTML. My idea at this time is to actually parse it entirely out. So like, if an opening angle bracket for HTML occurs then remove it, and all following characters or bytes, up until and including the closing angle bracket.
chunk🕙:2025-08-16
Today I learned that an HTTP HEAD request asks the server for the response headers of a given URL without including the actual body.

I was at the library today, they had free food! Today has been a wholesome day so far :)

Doin up a tags thing right now. The idea thus far is to keep all the dicts in memory until later we need SQL or a python shelve. Once a gajillion twtxt tweets have occured, this will obviously slow loading times, having to execute so much list/dictionary computations, sort functions and string operations.

I've been contemplating lately having a new (but actually was before so old) LIFE AMBITION: that is to get a seriously fucking crazy stereo system. Whether a car or something to slap the walls in here silly.

Am looking into a solution for the inability to use hash tag symbols in twtxt posts. In the twtxt.txt file these start a comment. Just learned this today.
